In past times there was more use of routine colours. The rooms were usually painted in cream, white or beige. But evolution happens in every field. It happened in design too. People have shifted to more colour-friendly homes.
The colour theory in your home can be simply used by choosing the colour of the focal point of your room. The focal point can be anything like a bed, table or any upholstery. The rest of the colours can revolve around this main colour. This sound easier than the efforts required to execute it. There are various hues to choose from.
It’s important to have a highlighter in a darker shade need not be black always. The darker tone brings elegance to the room & changes the monotonous perspective. The number of hues depends on the liveliness required in the room.
What should we do as a designer?
As a designer, we prefer using more shades of white with eye-catching highlighters which add sugar to it. It’s easier to start with the RGB which is RED Green & Blue colours & then enhance it with other hues. You should not be scared of using colours. It’s always advisable to take professional advice.
Colours bring positivity to your home. So, use them wisely.
